​Dr. Mani Sarathy and Dr. Hatem Selim spent 11 days at the Advanced Light Source (ALS) at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL) conducting low pressure premixed flame experiments using synchotron generated tunable vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) for photoionization mass spectrometry.  CPC researchers were hosted by Dr. Nils Hansen of Sandia National Lab Combustion Research Facility, and they will be joining the ALS Flame Team for subsequent mesaurement campaigns.  Great success!
