Research Interests

The scientific community is striving to mitigate climate change by eliminating carbon emissions and enhancing the efficiency of the existing combustion systems. I contribute to those efforts by studying novel concepts to enhance the efficiency of internal combustion engines (ICEs).

My research focuses on the effect of media properties on the efficiency of HCCI engines. Also, we investigate the feasibility of oxy-fuel combustion in HCCI engines which can be an effective solution for carbon capture. Our project also intends to shed light on the behavior of non-carbon fuels such as hydrogen and ammonia in HCCI engines.
